especially if it does hit walmart or other stores like it. It will sell like crazy, because like everyone pointed above me, no one cares about the brand name at walmart, its about the price. if it does come to walmart, then HD DVD is going to get a HUGE boost in sales.
Like i said before, i think that walmart might go to HD DVD, get this player, back HDDVD more than Blue Ray by the holidays.. That is still my guess
that is what i have been hearing as well. these cheap HDDVD players are for walmart and other stores like that. If this player is in walmart, guaranteed it will sell tons. the majority of people shopping at walmart could care less really about the brandname, as long as the price is low. but i could be wrong
but i am guessing money from the HD DVD camp. i dunno though. it was just a guess, i have heard people talking up here in canada. so who knows. But what i do know, is who ever wins over Wal Mart, is going to have a big advantage, just becuase people love to shop there, and they will buy players and movies from Walmart=big jump in sales.. so i dunno, thats just my 2 cents. could go either way
this christmas, that Wal Mart will back more HD DVD than Blue Ray, and that will help HD DVD throughout the holidays. just my guess though
